How Smart Matching Works

Lost&Found now uses natural-language processing and location intelligence to automatically match lost reports with found items in your area.

When you report a lost item, our system continuously scans new "found" reports for keyword overlap, category similarity, and geographic proximity. When a strong match is found, both parties receive an instant notification.

Results So Far

During our beta period, Smart Matching helped reunite 340+ items with their rightful owners, cutting reunion time from an average of 12 days to just 5.
